Acting in English Workshop in Paris
The Acting in English workshop is open to students over the age of 17 with no previous experience required. Our intense week-long sessions include 36 hours of class with a final performance in front of a team of professionals from Cours Florent.
This intensive workshop is geared towards students who wish to pursue the full Acting in English program and also towards those who simply wish to further discover acting in the English language.
Acting in English in Paris and Brussels curriculum details:
- Theater exercises
- Workshops on imagination and senses
- Listening and communication
- Improvisation and spontaneity
- Workshops on scripts and scenes (objectives and obstacles, strategy and performance, performing scenes from English and American literature)
At the end of this workshop, participants will perform scenes from contemporary English and American plays and will be evaluated by a Cours Florent teacher. They will receive a written assessment by mail.

Workshops take place at one of our Paris campuses in the 19th or 20th arrondissement. The exact location of your workshop will be communicated to you one week before the start of the session. If you need to rent accommodation in Paris, we recommend choosing a location near Jaurès metro station (75019), which is equidistant from our various workshop locations.
Schedule
Depending on the period, we offer two types of schedules.
Sessions during school holidays: 36 hours over 6 days
- Days 1 to 6: 10 AM to 5 PM
Christmas sessions: 36 hours over 6 days
- Day 1: 9 AM to 12 PM, then 1 PM to 4 PM
- Days 2 to 5: 9 AM to 12 PM, then 1 PM to 4:30 PM
- Day 6: 9 AM to 1 PM
