Registration for 2025 summer sessions at Cours Florent

Every year Cours Florent offers our celebrated ‘Summer Intensive Acting Workshops’ - rigorous, immersive programs designed to introduce participants to foundational and advanced acting techniques, and the Cours Florent experience.
The summer intensive is a unique opportunity to explore the benefits and challenges of a professional training program, expand artistic boundaries, and discover creative potential.
Participants spend a uniquely structured week with a group of like-minded peers sharing similar interests and passion for theatre and film. A broad range of backgrounds and experiences contribute to a vibrant and dynamic experience, as the English-language-based approach attracts students from a wide variety of different cultures and influences. Ideas are exchanged, and friendships forged.
And all of this is set against the exciting, historic backdrop of Paris, world capital of culture and the Arts. The ‘City of Light’ in summer is a dynamic blend of old and new, classic and cutting-edge. From museums and festivals to café culture and unparalleled nightlife opportunities, world-famous cuisine and walks along the Seine, Paris in summer is an unforgettable experience.
THE PROGRAM
Under the expert guidance of Cours Florent instructors, all working professionals in the industry, participants discover the school’s unique approach to actor training, developed over 60 years of producing world-renowned alumni. The 6-day/36-hour program involves innovative and focused exercises, technical training in vocal production, body awareness, emotional accessibility, and scene work.
The week culminates in a showcase performance, attended by members of the Cours Florent permanent teaching staff. After the workshop, each participant receives a personnal assessment with detailed feedback. If they so choose, the workshop can serve as an audition for the full 3-year program.
The workshops take place in July, August and beginning of September at the Cours Florent Paris campus. They are open to everyone over 17 years of age, regardless of previous acting experience.
